Bob Marley and his musical benefit for the Czech reggae scene

Anotace:

Tato bakalarska prace pojednava o Bobu Marleym a jeho hudebnim prinosu pro ceskou reggae scenu. Soucasti prace je i vysvetleni pojmu, ktere s tematem souvisi, a to konkretne rastafarianstvi a reggae. Nechybi tu popis celeho tivota Boba Marleyho a jeho kariery, kterou zmenil deni ve svetove reggae scene. Zaverem teoreticke casti je popis a historie ceske reggae sceny do soucasnosti i s jejimi predstaviteli. Nechybi tu popis nasich nejvetsich reggae festivalu. Cilem prace je zjistit, jak velky je vliv Boba Marleyho na nase ceske reggae interprety a do jake miry ovlivnila jeho hudba a osobnost jejich tvorbu. To vse je zjisteno pomoci dotazniku, ktere byly zaslany a po sleze vyplneny nekolika ceskymi reggae interprety.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with Bob Marley and his contribution for the Czech reggae scene. Thesis includes definitions of terms connected with this topic, such as Rastafarianism and reggae. There is also a description of the whole life of Bob Marley and his career, which changed the events in the global reggae scene. In conclusion of the theoretic part there is a description and history of the Czech reggae scene from the beginning up to the present along with its representatives. There is also a description of our biggest reggae festivals. The aim of this thesis is to find out the influence of Bob Marley's on our Czech reggae artists and to which degree has his music and personality influenced their production. All of this was found out by questionnaires, which were send and filled by severel Czech reggae artists.
