Abstract:
Práce se zabývá vybranými problémy v překladu anglicky psané hrdinské fantasy do češtiny. Všímá si vzniku žánru, jeho definice a jeho tuzemské recepce po roce 1989. V praktické části představuje tři díla tohoto žánru v anglickém originále a zkoumá vhodnost a přiměřenost překladu některých jeho dílčích elementů do češtiny.Abstract:
The thesis deals with some selected issues in translation of English-written heroic fantasy into Czech. It traces the origins of the genre, its modern definition and its significance and reception after the year 1989.
