The evaluation of employee motivation strategy of the selected company

Abstract:

Tato magisterská diplomová práce si klade za cíl najít odpověď na hlavní výzkumnou otázku: „Jak zaměstnanci organizace hodnotí její motivační strategii?“ Na základě této otázky byla definována základní teoretická východiska: motivace, typy motivace, motivační teorie, zdroje motivace, motivační profil, motivační strategie a faktory ovlivňující motivaci. Dále jsou vyjmenovány základní pracovně právní dokumenty a je definována kvalita. V metodologické části jsou popsány cíle této práce, jejichž naplnění bylo realizováno patnácti rozhovory s respondenty výzkumu v průběhu 3 měsíců. Empirická část se věnuje popisu organizace, ve které se výzkum realizoval. Dále jsou prezentovány výsledky výzkumu. Mezi faktory, které ovlivňují motivaci lze zařadit: pracovní prostředí, pracovní místo, pracovní úkol, pracovní role, odměňování a seberealizace. Jednotlivý důraz na dané faktory se liší dle věku, vzdělání a délky praxe respondenta v organizaci. Motivační strategie byla zhodnocena jako nedostačují a je doporučeno vytvořit novou verzi.

Abstract:

This master's thesis aims to find the answer to the main research question: "How does an organization's staff evaluate its motivation strategy?" Based on this question, the basic theoretical basis was defined: motivation, types of motivation, motivation theory, motivation sources, motivation profile, motivational strategies and factors influencing motivation. Further, basic labor law documents are listed and quality is defined. In the methodological part are described the aims of this work, which were realized by fifteen interviews with research respondents within 3 months. The empirical part deals with the description of the organization in which the research was carried out. Results of the research are also presented. Factors that affect motivation include: work environment, workplace, job, role, remuneration and self-realization. Individual emphasis on these factors varies according to the age, education, and length of the respondent's practice in the organization. The motivation strategy has been assessed as inadequate and it is recommended to create a new version.
