The thesis is focused on the improvement of the duty capabilities of the Volunteer Fire Brigade of the Town of Prostějov. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the Fire protection units organization, the requirements of duty capabilities and the issue of the membership of the villages volunteer firefighter units.
