Nature and landscape protection in quarries and sand pits

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou těžby nerostných surovin, obnovou dotčených oblastí a stávající ochranou přírody a krajiny. Skládá se z dvou hlavních částí, teoretického a praktického charakteru. Teoretická část vykládá o historii těžby v České republice, informuje o současném stavu a vlive těžby na životní prostředí. Podrobně jsou rozebrány a porovnány různé typy současné rekultivace. Teorii uzavírá ochrana přírody a krajiny v těžbou ovlivněných oblastech a ekologická hodnota právě dotěžených lomů. Praktická část byla zaměřena na tři vybrané dobývací prostory, kamenolom Luleč, kamenolom Hrabůvka a pískovna Mankovice. V rámci osobního terénního průzkumu jsou oblasti charakterizované v rámci širších územních vztahů a současného stavu. Prostřednictvím průzkumu a získaných materiálů jsou identifikovány rozdílné střety zájmů v oblastech, na jejichž základě bylo vytvořeno dotazníkové šetření. V rámci dotazníku bylo dotázáno několik těžbou dotčených subjektů, a z jejich odpovědí jsou zpracovány výsledky a možná řešení problémů. Dílčím výstupem práce je i osvětová brožura informačního charakteru, zaměřena na ochranu přírody a krajiny v kamenolomech a pískovnách.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of mining, the restoration of the affected areas and the existing nature and landscape protection. It consists of two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains the history of mining in the Czech Republic, informs about the current status and impact of mining on the environment. Different types of current reclamation are analyzed in detail. The theory is concluded by the protection of nature and landscape in the mining-affected areas and the ecological value of just closed quarries. The practical part was focused on three selected mining areas, the Luleč quarry, Hrabůvka quarry and the Mankovice sand pit. Within the personal field survey, the areas are characterized within the framework of broader territorial relations and the current status. Through the survey and the obtained materials, different conflicts of interest are identified in the areas on the basis of which the questionnaire survey was created. Within the questionnaire, several entities affected by mining were interviewed, and the results and possible solutions to problems are processed from their answers. A partial output of the work is also an educational brochure of an informative character, focused on the protection of nature and landscape in quarries and sand pits.
