Benefits within the police of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Policie České republiky, jako státní instituce využívá pro personální stabilizaci nad rámec platu zaměstnanecké výhody vyplývající ze zákona o služebním poměru příslušníků bezpečnostních sborů. Nevýhodou těchto policejních benefitů je skutečnost, že i přes částečné plnění role spočívající v zamezení nežádoucí fluktuace nemají potenciál v oblasti náborové atraktivity, neboť nejzásadnější výhody jsou vázány hranicí odsloužených let pro vznik nároku na jejich plnění. Tyto výhody plynoucí ze zákona a zajišťované organizací jsou nezávisle doplněny o mimo resortní benefity ve formě zvýhodněných nabídek produktů soukromých firem vůči policistům, které ovšem přes kladně vnímanou existenci nemají zásadnější motivační hodnotu. Na základě těchto důvodů je na místě úvaha nad úpravou systému policejních benefitů k zajištění zvýšení motivačního účinku.

Abstract:

The Police of the Czech Republic, as a state institution uses beyond salary employee benefits for staff stabilisation following from the law of service of law-enforcement agencies members. The disadvantage of these benefits is the fact that although they partially fulfil the role of job-changing precautions, they have no potential in recruitment attractiveness, because the best benefits are bound by years in service that are necessary for their fulfilment. These benefits following from the law and ensured by the organisation are independently complemented by out-of-organisation benefits for police officers in the form of discount offers of private companies´ products that despite the fact they are perceived positively, they have no major motivational value. On the basis of these reasons changes in the system of benefits that work as a tool for increasing motivation of police officers should be considered.
