Selected exercises and work procedures in teaching bitmap graphics

Abstract:

Tato práce se věnuje tvorbě cvičení a postupů pro výuku vybraných částí z tematického celku počítačová grafika. Práce je učena zejména pro potřeby odborného vzdělávání v předmětu Počítačová grafika na střední škole v oboru Informační technologie. Vytvořené praktické i teoretické didaktické prostředky budou použity k nácviku editace digitálních fotografií i k přípravě na tvorbu fotomontáží a akcidenčních dokumentů v programu GIMP. Práce však může být využita nejen při výuce, ale také může sloužit i k samostudiu i případným zájemcům o toto téma. Teoretická část obsahuje vybraný tematický celek v kontextu předmětu Počítačová grafika a popis základních pojmů souvisejících s tématem. Tyto pojmy jsou nezbytné k výchozí orientaci a porozumění jak tomuto rozvětvenému oboru, tak i druhé části práce. V praktické části je zahrnuto seznámení s pracovním prostředím bitmapového editoru GIMP verze 2.10 a jsou zde navržena cvičení s postupy od běžnějších úprav bitmapových fotografií pomocí základních nástrojů po pokročilejší a komplexnější práci v programu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the creation of exercises and procedures for teaching selected parts of the thematic unit Computer Graphics. The thesis is intended mainly for the needs of vocational education in the subject Computer Graphics in the field of Information Technology at a secondary school. The created practical and theoretical didactic means will be used to practise digital photo editing and to prepare for the creation of photomontages and accidental documents in the GIMP program. However, the thesis can be used not only in a teaching process but can also be used by those interested in this topic for self-study. The theoretical part contains a selected thematic unit in the context of the subject Computer Graphics and the description of basic terms related to the topic. The practical part includes an introduction to the working environment of the bitmap editor GIMP version 2.10 and there are suggested exercises with procedures from more common editing of bitmap photos using basic tools to more advanced and complex work in the program.
