Strategy proposal for a local provider of telecommunication services

Abstract:

Baranová, J. Návrh strategie pro lokálního poskytovatele telekomunikačních služeb. Bakalářská práce. Brno: Mendelova univerzita v Brně, 2022. Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na tvorbu a formulaci strategie pro lokálního poskytovatele telekomunikačních služeb v malém městě. Cílem strategie je zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti a upevnění pozice firmy na lokálním trhu. Literární rešerše se opírá o odbornou literaturu a vysvětluje uvedenou problematiku. Ve výsledkové části je zhodnocen aktuální stav firmy pomocí PESTE analýzy makrookolí, Porterovy analýzy odvětví a metody 7S, zkoumající vnitřní prostředí. Definované faktory jsou ohodnoceny maticemi EFE a IFE. V závěru je provedena SWOT analýza, která formuluje 4 strategie. Finální strategie je vybrána v souladu s požadavky a potřebami podniku, ekonomicky zhodnocena a je navržena její následná implementace.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the creation and formulation of a strategy for a local provider of telecommunications services in a small town. The goal of the strategy is to increase competitiveness and strengthen the company's position on the local market. The literature research is based on professional literature and explains the knowledge about mentioned issue. In the results part, the current state of the company is evaluated by using the PESTE analysis of the macro environment, Porter's industry analysis and the 7S method, which examines the internal environment. The defined factors are evaluated by EFE and IFE matrices. At the end, a SWOT analysis is made, which formulates 4 strategies. The final strategy is chosen in accordance with the requirements and needs of the company, economically evaluated and subsequently its implementation is proposed.
