Colorectal Carcinoma

Abstract:

Problematika onkologických onemocnění, jejichž počet neustále stoupá, je stále aktuální téma. Proto je téma této bakalářské práce zaměřeno na kolorektální karcinom, neboť se v České republice toto onemocnění umisťuje na předních příčkách grafů incidence i mortality. Úvodní kapitola je zaměřena na anatomii tlustého střeva. Příčiny vzniku kolorektálního karcinomu, stádia a příznaky nemoci jsou podrobně rozepsány v několika následujících kapitolách. Největší část práce je věnována prevenci, diagnostice a léčbě karcinomu tlustého střeva. Dále jsou zmíněny také dvě kazuistiky. Cílem práce je vytvořit zajímavou a přínosnou rešerši poznatků o prevenci, která je zaměřena především na rizikové faktory a léčbu kolorektálního karcinomu v České republice.

Abstract:

The issue of oncological diseases, whose number is constantly increasing, is still a hot topic. Therefore, the topic of this bachelor thesis is focused on colorectal cancer, as this disease is at the top of the incidence and mortality charts in the Czech Republic. The introductory chapter focuses on the anatomy of the colon. The causes, stages and symptoms of colorectal cancer are discussed in detail in the following chapters. The largest part of the thesis is devoted to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of colon cancer. Two case reports are also mentioned. The aim of the thesis is to provide an interesting and useful review of the knowledge on prevention, which focuses mainly on risk factors and treatment of colorectal cancer in the Czech Republic.
