Inclusion from the perspective of elementary school teachers

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce nese název Školní inkluze z pohledu učitelů základních škol. Zabývá se názory učitelů na inkluzívní vzdělávání. Tyto názory mohou být pozitivní i naopak kritické. Hlavním cílem mé diplomové práce je zmapovat současný stav inkluzívního vzdělávání ve školách z pohledu učitelů ZŠ. Chci zjistit, zda je školní inkluze dostatečně zajištěna podporou státu, zda je školní inkluze zajištěná odbornou profesionální prací učitelů a zmapovat konkrétní postoje učitelů ke školní inkluzi. Teoretická část je zaměřena na proces inkluzívního vzdělávání, historický vývoj, legislativní zakotvení. V neposlední řadě se zaměřuje na aktéry inkluzívního procesu, tedy dítě se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami, učitele a celý podpůrný systém. Podkladem praktické části je dotazníkové šetření, které probíhalo na školách na Přerovsku. Zaměřuje se na konkrétní postoje a zkušenosti pedagogických pracovníků.

Abstract:

The topic of this master's thesis is Inclusion from the perspective of elementary school teachers. It focuses on teachers and their opinion about inclusion. These opinions can be both positive and critical. The main aim of this thesis is to ascertain current situation of inclusive education at schools from teachers' point of view. I would like to learn if the state provides enough support for inclusion at schools, if it is provided with an expert and professional work of teachers, and to ascertain teachers' actual stands on inclusion at schools. The theoretical part is focused on the process of inclusive education, its history, and legislation. It also focuses on the parties involved in the process of inclusive education, meaning the child with special educational needs, the teachers and the whole supporting system. The data used in the practical part was gathered using questionnaires distributed at schools in Přerov district. It focuses on actual stands and experience of education workers.
