The Socio Econimic Analysis of Significant Tourist Areas in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, kde jsou v České republice lokalizované přírodně rekreační oblasti. Jak vysoká je míra shody socioekonomického profilu mezi jednotlivými turistickými oblastmi a jak významně se odchylují od průměrných hodnot za Českou republiku. V prvotní fázi došlo k vymezení rekreačních oblastí, které následně byly podrobeny socioekonomické analýze se zaměřením na obyvatelstvo a problematiku zaměstnanosti, kdy bylo čerpáno ze širokého spektra údajů Českého statistického úřadu. Následovalo zhodnocení oblastí na základě turistické atraktivity a turistického zatížení sledovaného pomocí lůžkové kapacity, z čehož vyplynulo několik středisek cestovního ruchu národního významu. Z poznatků, které práce přinesla, je evidentní, že cestovní ruch není pro regiony takovým přínosem, jak se předpokládalo. Z dostupných statistik proti tomuto trendu hovoří vylidňování oblastí, ztráta pracovních míst a nedostatečná atraktivita z pohledu nabídky práce.

Abstract:

The main goal of the thesis is to find out where are located natural recreational areas in the Czech Republic, how high is the rate of the socio-economic profile match between individual touristic areas and how significantly they deviate from the average values for the Czech Republic. In the first phase were defined the recreation areas, which were then submitted to a socio-economic analysis focusing on the population and the issues of unemployment. The info were gained from the wide spectrum of the data of the Czech Statistical Office. Then ensued the evaluation of the areas based on the tourist attraction and the tourist load monitored by bed capacity, which resulted in several centers of national importance. From the results obtained in the thesis, it is clear that tourism is not as profitable to the regions as expected. From the statistics available, speaks against this trend depopulation of the area, the loss of jobs and insufficient attractivity in terms of job offers.
