Diplomová práce se zabývá postojem laické veřejnosti k vlastnímu stáří. Je rozdělena na dvě části. První část má za úkol vysvětlit problematiku stárnutí a stáří na teoretické úrovni. Věnuje se demografickému stárnutí, charakteristice seniorské populace a pojetí stáří z pohledu seniora a společnosti. Abstract:
The thesis consists of two parts and deals with the attitude of the public to a senescence. The first part outlines the issues concerning ageing and agedness on the theoretical level and describes demographic senescence, the characteristics of senior population and the approach to ageing from the perspective of a senior citizen and society.
