Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with Günter Grass’ novella „Im Krebsgang”. Grass belongs to the most successful writers who are writing in Germany today. The thesis is watching his way to writing „Im Krebsgang“ and his live full of affairs which lead to writing. In this book he describes the biggest navy disaster. He provides a picture of german society through the one family after Second World War.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá novelou Güntera Grasse „Im Krebsgang“. Grass patří v současnosti mezi nejúspěšnější žijící německy píšící autory a tato práce sleduje jak jeho cestu k napsání „Im Krebsgang“, tak i jeho událostmi nabitý život, vedoucí právě k dílu, popisujícímu největší námořní katastrofu všech dob.
