Mechanisms of bacterial resistance to bacteriophages
Abstract:
Cílem práce je shrnutí současných poznatků o obranných mechanizmech bakterií vůči bakteriofágům. Pozornost je věnována mechanizmům zabraňujícím adsorpci fága na povrch bakterie, založeným na změně struktury nebo ztrátě receptoru fága či tvorbě extracelulární matrix. Abstract:
The aim of my project is to summarize the present knowledge of defensive mechanisms of bacteria against bacteriophages. The attention is noticed to the mechanisms which prevent from phage adsorption on the surface of the bacterium, that are based on the change of the structure or the loss of phage receptor or the production of extracellular matrix.
