Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá beletrií Josefa Merhauta z přelomu 19. a 20. století: především jeho povídkami, dále romány, fejetony a básněmi. Cílem této práce je popsat Merhautův literární přínos a posoudit vývoj Merhautovy poetiky. Práce se také zaměřuje na podněty, jež autora ovlivnily, například město Brno a jeho okolí.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the fiction of Josef Merhaut at the break of 19th - 20th centuries: especially his stories; novels, feuilletons, poems. The aim of this thesis is to describe the literary contribution and review the evolution of the poetics of Josef Merhaut. The thesis focuses on the stimuli which influenced the author such as Brno and its surroundings.
