The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the first movement of Beethoven's Piano Sonata Op. 13, 'Pathetique', focusing on issues of harmony, musical form, melody, and affective content. This analysis seeks to examine the distinctive features of Beethoven's musical language in relation to these elements and provide some performance suggestions. Účelem této práce je zanalyzovat první větu Beethovenovy klavírní sonáty op. 13 "Patetické". Analýza se zaměřuje na otázky harmonie, hudební formy, melodie a afektového obsahu. Tato analýza se snaží zkoumat charakteristické rysy Beethovenova hudebního jazyka v souvislosti s těmito prvky a poskytnout některé interpretační návrhy.
