Embryonální kmenové buňky mají schopnost diferencovat do libovolného buněčného typu daného organismu, tedy i hematopoetických kmenových buněk (HSC). Tyto HSC by mohly být využity pro hematologické transplantace u pacientů s narušenou hematopoézou jako alternativa ke konvenčním zdrojům HSC. Embryonic stem cells have the ability to differentiate into any cell type of a given organism, even the hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). These HSCs could be used for hematological transplantations for patients with damaged hematopoiesis as an alternative to conventional HSCs sources.
