The Preparation of the New Accommodation Facility in the City of Levice

Abstract:

The thesis discusses the resources of hotel operation planning, whereby the essence of the project is development of new accommodation facilities. Not only will the guests benefit from this but local inhabitants, as well. The development itself is a complex process where consistent planning and adherence to the schedule are vital. Prior to the building process several main factors need to be considered, i.e. location and area where the construction will be built, background and location development as well as tourism infrastructure and suprastructure. The main aim of this work is to suggest a schedule for the development of new accommodation facility in the city of Levice. Location and feasibility land selected for the development is assessed according to the general town plan. The urban neighborhood of Horša in Levice has been selected. The theoretical part of the work defines basic terminology and theoretical resources of development including tourism characteristics. For successful achievement aim of this work the analytical part of the thesis covers complex analyzes. In the proposal part of the thesis have been suggested measures and possibilities for further use, the aim of which is to improve the current situation in Levice region. It is essential to create suitable conditions for the development, tend to the protection of the environment, a sustainable area development and also to respect the community of inhabitants of chosen area, their needs and the needs of future generations. The new hotel should provide new possibilities for local inhabitants and entrepreneurs, it ought to contribute to decrease in unemployment, improve civic amenities, increase the visit rate in the region and last but not least to contribute to further development of tourism in the area.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca pojednáva o východiskách projektovania hotelovej prevádzky, pričom hlavnou podstatou projektu je výstavba nového hotela, ktorý prinesie úžitok nie len ubytovaným hosťom, ale aj miestnym obyvateľom. Realizácia výstavby ubytovacieho zariadenia je zložitý proces vyžadujúci dôsledné naplánovanie a dodržiavanie harmonogramu. Pred začatím je nutné zvážiť niekoľko faktorov, medzi ktoré patrí miesto a okolie, kde sa bude výstavba realizovať, predpoklady a rozvoj danej lokality, ako aj supraštruktúra a infraštruktúra cestovného ruchu. Cieľom práce je navrhnúť harmonogram výstavby nového ubytovacieho zariadenia v meste Levice. Vhodnosť lokality a pozemku vybratého k výstavbe je posudzovaná na základe územného plánu, pričom vybratá bola jedna z mestských častí mesta Levice, a to Horša. Teoretická časť práce definuje základnú terminológiu a teoretické východiská výstavby, vrátane charakteristiky cestovného ruchu. K úspešnému naplneniu cieľa boli v analytickej časti práce urobené komplexné analýzy, na základe ktorých boli v tretej, návrhovej časti práce, navrhnuté opatrenia a možnosti ďalšieho využitia s cieľom zlepšenia súčasnej situácie v Levickom regióne. Podstatou je tiež vytvoriť vhodné podmienky pre výstavbu, dbať na ochranu životného prostredia, na trvalo udržateľný rozvoj územia a tiež rešpektovať spoločenstvo obyvateľov daného územia so zreteľom nie len na potreby súčasných, ale aj budúcich generácií. Nový hotel by mal priniesť nové možnosti pre miestnych obyvateľov a podnikateľov, prispieť k zníženiu nezamestnanosti, zlepšiť občiansku vybavenosť, zvýšiť návštevnosť daného regiónu a v neposlednom rade prispieť k ďalšiemu rozvoju obce v oblasti cestovného ruchu.
