Activities of professional fire protection units during the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na činnost a připravenost profesionálních jednotek hasičských záchranných sborů podniků v komparaci s hasičskými záchrannými sbory krajů v době vyhlášení nouzového stavu v březnu 2020 z důvodu pandemie COVID – 19. V teoretické části se věnuje rozboru legislativy v oblasti požární ochrany vztahující se k chodu a fungování uvedených jednotek požární ochrany v době klidu i vyhlášených krizových stavů. V druhé, praktické části, práce provádí kvalitativní výzkum formou strukturovaných rozhovorů. V nich jsou respondenti dotazováni na zvládnutí a připravenost uvedeného nouzového stavu v jednotkách požární ochrany. Ze získaných dat a informací práce konstatuje, že jednotky hasičských záchranných sborů podniků byly na vznik krizového stavu připraveny. Potvrzuje i existenci rozdílů v připravenosti jednotek, které vyplívají z jejich předurčenosti, ale často i z nedostatečně prováděné odborné přípravy a cvičení na hromadnou nákazu. V závěru práce jsou předloženy návrhy opatření pro velitele jednotek hasičských záchranných sborů podniků.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the activities and readiness of professional units of fire brigades in comparison with the regional fire brigades at the time of the declaration of emergency in March 2020 due to the pandemic COVID - 19. The theoretical part deals with the analysis of fire protection legislation to the operation and functioning of the said fire protection units in times of rest and declared crisis situations. In the second, practical part, the work conducts qualitative research in the form of structured interviews. In them, respondents are asked about the management and readiness of the state of emergency in fire protection units. From the obtained data and information, the thesis states that the units of the company´s fire and rescue services were prepared for the crisis. It also confirms the existence of differences in the readiness of units, which result from their predestination, but often also from insufficiently performed training and exercises for mass infection. At the end of the work, proposals for measures for the commanders of company´s fire brigades are presented.
