Job satisfaction of employees in the non-profit organization

Abstract:

Základním cílem práce je zjistit úroveň pracovní spokojenosti ve vybrané neziskové organizaci. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na vymezení problematiky pracovní spokojenosti a definuje specifika neziskových organizací. Klíčovým výstupem teoretické části je identifikace faktorů pracovní spokojenosti, které jsou následně využity pro zjišťování dílčí spokojenosti v empirické části. Hlavními výzkumnými metodami jsou upravený standardizovaný dotazník pracovní spokojenosti Výzkumné ústavu práce a sociálních věcí a rozhovory podle návodu. Zjištění z výzkumného šetření ukazují, že zaměstnanci ve vybrané organizaci považují za nejdůležitější charakter scé práce a s tímto faktorem jsou zároveň nejvíce spokojeni, svou práci považují za velice zajímavou. Za nejproblematičtější oblasti fungování organizac můžeme na základě výzkumu označit současné nastavení organizační struktury a vztahy a komunikaci s přímým nadřízeným. V závěru práce jsou formulovány návrhy a doporučení, které vedení organizace poskytují vodítko ke zvyšování pracovní spokojenosti zaměstnanců a zlepšování organizačního klimatu.

Abstract:

The main aim of the thesis is to ascertain the level of work satisfaction in the chosen nonprofit organization. The theoretical part of the work is aimed at delineating the issue of workplace satisfaction and defining specific aspects of it in the context of nonprofit organizations. The key point of the theoretical part of the work is the identification of the factors that make up workplace satisfaction. These are then applied in the empirical part. The main research method used are a modified version of the standardized workplace satisfaction questionnaire used by the Research Institute of Work and Social Matters and interviews. The research results show that the employees of the chosen organization consider the character of their work to be the most important factor determining their satisfaction and that they are also the most satisfied with this factor; they consider their work to be very interesting. Based on the research results, the most problematic parts of organizational function are identified to be an organizational structure and relations and communication with employers. The conclusion of the work presents suggestions to the organization management that provide a possible guide to increasing employee satisfaction and improving the overall workplace environment.
