Investors in People - principles, benefits and limits of its implementation in the Czech enterprises

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá standardem Investors in People, mezinárodním standardem v oblasti řízení a rozvoje lidských zdrojů. Cílem předkládané práce je podat základní charakteristiku standardu Investors in People a na základě provedeného výzkumu zhodnotit význam a efekty jeho zavádění v českém prostředí. Teoretická část práce obsahuje charakteristiku Standardu, jeho deklarované přínosy, srovnání s jinými jakostními systémy, stručnou historii a současné rozšíření. Dále přibližuje možnosti implementace v České republice. V metodologické části je objasněn cíl výzkumu, volba metod výzkumu i technik sběru dat. Empirická část na základě výzkumu provedeného v českých firmách, které se zúčastnily pilotní fáze projektu, analyzuje přínosy, možnosti a limity implementace standardu IIP v českých firmách. Výstupem výzkumu je vyhodnocení významu zavádění standardu IIP pro české podniky.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is engaged in the Investors in People Standard, an international standard for managing and developing human resources. The main aim of this work is to give an overview of the Standard Investors in People and to evaluate the benefits and effect of its implementation in the Czech environment according to the realized research. The theoretical part contains a characteristic of the Standard, its declared benefits, comparison with other quality systems, a brief history and contemporary spread. Further on, it shows the possibilities of its implementation in the Czech Republic. In the methodology part, the aim of the research, used methods and techniques are presented. The empirical part analyzes the benefits, possibilities and limits of this implementation, based on the research held in the Czech enterprises taking part in the pilot project. The result of this work is to evaluate what does the implementation of the IIP Standard mean to the Czech enterprises.
