Předkládaná práce představuje činnost kronikáře Františka Sochora, který ve své práci zaznamenal dějiny Železného Brodu ve 20. století. V práci sleduji dva cíle. Prvním z nich je holistické představení kronikáře, archiváře a učitele v jedné osobě. Druhým cílem je zhodnocení jeho díla na základě dostupných pramenných materiálů, které jsou navzájem komparovány. Abstract:
The thesis presents the activity of the chronicler Frantisek Sochor who in his work took down the history of Železný Brod in the 20th century. In the thesis I pursue two aims. The first one is holistic presentation of the chronicler, archivist and teacher in one person. The other one is evaluation of his work based on available sources that are compared. The work of F.
