Causes of Cyberbullying in Selected Primary and Secondary Schools in Jindrichuv Hradec and Tabor Region

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku šikany a kyberšikany, tedy na zločin, který probíhá prostřednictvím internetu a sociálních sítí. Bakalářská práce je primárně zaměřena na žáky základních a studenty středních škol. Práce se rozděluje na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou systematicky setříděné poznatky z oblasti kyberšikany a pro lepší pochopení problematiky obsahuje důležité základní pojmy, včetně uvedení přehledu právních předpisů, které řeší danou problematiku a v neposlední řadě tato část obsahuje nejčastější příčiny vzniku kyberšikany a prevenci. Praktickou část tvoří kvantitativní výzkum, který je zpracován formou dotazníkového šetření na základních a středních školách. Dotazník byl určen a vyplněn ze strany žáků a studentů. Pro lepší vypovídající hodnoty byly provedeny rozhovory s pedagogy. Dotazník ověřil, jakou mají žáci a studenti informační úroveň o kyberšikaně. Jednotlivé odpovědi jsou porovnávány podle různých kritérií, např. pohlaví nebo věku. Závěr shrnuje průběh vypracování bakalářské práce, odůvodnění, proč byl vybrán tento výzkumný vzorek a v neposlední řadě je zmíněno naplnění cílů.

Abstract:

This bachelor is focused on the issue of bullying and cyberbullying, i.e. crime that takes place via the Internet and social networks. The bachelor thesis is primarily aimed at primary and secondary school students. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, knowledge in the field of cyberbullying is systematically sorted and for a better understanding of the issue contains important basic concepts, including an overview of legal regulations that address the issue and last but not least, this part contains the most common causes of cyberbullying and prevention. The practical part consists of quantitative research, which is processed in the form of a questionnaire survey in primary and secondary schools. The questionnaire was designed and completed by pupils and students. For better telling values, interviews with teachers were conducted. The questionnaire verified the information level of pupils and students about cyberbullying. The individual responses are compared according to different criteria such as gender or age. The conclusion summarises the process of the development of the Bachelor's thesis, the rationale why this research sample was chosen and last but not least the fulfilment of the objectives is mentioned.
