Comparison of accounting softwares on the Czech market

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá porovnáním účetních software na českém trhu. K porovnání byly vybrány tři účetní systémy. Subsystém Fenix, Helios Orange, oba vytvořené firmou Asseco Solutions, a.s. Posledním softwarem je Pohoda od firmy Stormware s.r.o. Společné pro všechny tři aplikace je provoz pod operačním systémem Windows a architekturou klient/server.V literární rešerši je popsán vývoj účetních technik a metod, některé způsoby zpracování účetnictví, stručný vývoj zákonů. Programy jsou hodnoceny na základě vybraných kritérií. Hodnotící kritéria jsou rozdělena do tří skupin na obsahová, technická a obchodní. V závěru literární rešerše jsou popsány hodnocené programy.V praktické části jsou vybrané programy hodnoceny podle vybraných kritérií a bodové hodnocení je uspořádáno do tabulky a grafu. Na základě získaných hodnot je provedeno vyhodnocení účetních software z pohledu uživatele. Jsou uvedeny výhody a nevýhody vybraných programů, které mohou být rozhodující pro výběr nového ekonomického systému. V závěru je provedena rekapitulace zhodnocení vybraných účetních systémů a posouzena jejich vhodnost pro případnou aplikaci v organizaci nebo firmě.

Abstract:

This thesis presents a comparison of accounting software on the Czech market. For the comparison there were selected three accounting systems. The first one is Fenix Subsystem created by the company Asseco Solutions, Inc. This program is designed primarily for budgetary and contributory organizations, small, medium and large scale. Another successful program is the Helios Orange, which also dates from Asseco Business Solutions, Inc., formerly LCS, Inc. The last one is the software Pohoda which comes from the company Stormware Ltd. All three applications are running under the operation system Windows and client / server architecture.In the literature search there is described the development of accounting techniques and methods, certain methods of accounting treatment and brief development of laws.The programs are evaluated on the basis of selected criteria. The rating criteria are divided into three groups: content, technology and business. In the end there are described all evaluated programs.In the practical part the selected programs are evaluated according to selected criteria and scores are arranged in the table and graph. On the basis of analyzed values follows the evaluation from the perspective of accounting software users. There are advantages and disadvantages of selected programs, which may be crucial for the selection of a new economic system. Finally there is a summary evaluation of selected accounting systems and assessed their suitability for possible application in an organization or company.
