Social isolation of seniors in the SAREPTA home for the elderly in Komorní Lhotka

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je typem teoreticko-aplikačním. Cílem mé bakalářské práce je zjistit, co podporuje a co brání sociální izolaci klienta v Domově pro seniory SAREPTA. V první částí své bakalářské práce se budu věnovat teorii a pojmům jako je senior, stáří a změny ve stáří, sociální práci se seniory, domovu pro seniory a životu seniorů v domově pro seniory. Druhá část teoretické části bude věnována pojmům, jako je sociální izolace, rizika sociální izolace a prevence sociální izolace. Kapitola sociální izolace tady navazuje na další kapitolu, která vyzdvihuje individuální plánování průběhu sociální služby, jež může být právě prevencí sociální izolace seniorů v pobytové sociální službě, pokud je prováděna správně a dle stanovených kritérií a předpisů. V této kapitole popíšu definici individuálního plánování průběhu sociální služby, jeho význam pro uživatele a poskytovatelé sociální služby, tak i jeho zákonné požadavky. Neopomenu také popsat individuální plánování z pohledu sociálních pracovníků, kteří jsou nedílnou a důležitou složkou při vytváření individuálního plánování u klientů v pobytové službě. V individuálním plánování vymezím jeho popis, proces individuálního plánování, metody a cíle. V aplikační části se budu věnovat výzkumu v domově pro seniory SAREPTA v Komorní Lhotce. Aplikační část této práce bude vypracována analýzou problému z praxe na základě zkoumání a analýzy dokumentů individuálních plánů. Jako výzkumnou metodu použiji tedy analýzu dokumentů, tím myšleno analýzu individuálních plánů klientů domova pro seniory. Individuální plánování klientů bude podrobeno analýze problému z praxe, kde budu zejména vycházet z teorie a teoretických poznatků, které jsem ve své práci popsala. V závěru, na základě získaných dat a zjištěných cílů klientů z individuálních plánů, se pokusím o sumarizaci zjištěných dat a následné vyhodnocení a zodpovězení hlavní výzkumné otázky. V diskusi popíšu zjištěné získané informace, které jsem díky analyzování individuálních plánů zjistila a srovnám je s teorií. Rovněž popíšu kazuistiky klientů, což povede k zodpovězení hlavního zkoumaného jevu dané problematiky.

Abstract:

The bachelor´s thesis is the theoretical-application type of the work. The aim of my bachelor´s thesis is to find out, what supports and what prevents the social isolation of the client in the elderly Sarepta home. In the first part of my bachelor´s thesis, I will focus on theory and concepts such as the elderly, old age and changes in old age, social work with the elderly, the home of the elderly and the life of the elderly in a home for the elderly. The second part of theoretical part will be devoted to concepts such as social isolation, risks of social isolation and prevention of social isolation. The chapter on social isolation follows on from another chapter, which highlights individual planning of the course of social services, which can by precisely the prevention of social isolation of seniors in a residential social services, if it´s carried out correctly and according to established criteria and regulations. In the chapter, I will describe the definition on individual planning of the course of social services, it´s importance for users and providers of social services, as well as it´s legal requirements. I will also not forget to describe individual planning from the point of view of social workers, who are an integral and important component in the creation of individual planning for clients in the residential service. In individual planning, I will define it´s description, the process of individual planning, methods and goals. In the application part, I will focus on preliminary to research in the home for the elderly SAREPTA in Komorní Lhotka. The application part of this work will be developed by analysing the problem from practice based on the examination and analysis of documents of individual plans. As a research method, I will therefore use document analysis, by which I mean the analysis of the individual plans of the clients of the home for the elderly. Client´s individual planning will be subjected to an analysis of a problem from practice, where I will mainly base it on theory and theoretical knowledge that I have described in my work. In the end, based on the obtained data and the identified goals of the clients from the individual client´s plans, I will try to summarize the obtained data and then evaluate and answer the main research question. In the discussion I will describe the obtained information that I found thanks to the analysis of individual plans, and I will compare it whit the theory. I will also describe client´s case studies, which will lead to answering the main researched phenomenon of the given issue.
