Word Play in the story Malý Alenáš

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na jazykovou hru v díle Malý Alenáš od Ivana Vyskočila. Vlastní práce v úvodu stručně shrnuje aspekty autorova života, které se dále promítají v jeho díle, ukazuje pohled dětské literatury a zmiňuje poslání hry. Poté následuje stěžejní část práce, ve které se hovoří o prostředcích komiky, mezi něž patří kontrast mezi hovorovými a knižními výrazy, využití odborných slov v literárním díle pro děti, uplatnění cizích slov z pohledu jazykové komiky a dětského čtenáře, nebo pozice slangových výrazů. Zahrnuty jsou nejcharakterističtější prvky díla, mezi něž je řazeno vytváření nových slov a expresivita. V kapitole o formálně - sémantických vztazích jsou analyzovány jevy jako synonymie, homonymie, antonymie, metafora, přirovnání, metonymie nebo frazeologismy. Výraznou částí je analýza komiky založené na tvorbě a výběru jmen, příjmení a místních jmen. Dále se hovoří o uplatnění rýmu, komičnosti založené na roli větné výstavby, ale také o úloze zvukové a grafické stránky díla. V závěru se na dílo díváme z pohledu nonsensu, který je stěžejním prvkem celého textu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the play with the language in the book Malý Alenáa by Ivan Vyskočil. At the begining the work itself briefly summarizes the aspects of the author#s life, which are further reflected in his work, showing the view of children#s literature and mentioning the mission of a game. Then follows the core part of the work, in which it talks about the instruments of humour, including the contrast between colloquial expressions and litereary expressions, the use of technical terms in literary work for children, the use of foreign words from the perspective of comic language and a child reader or a position of slang expressions. The most characteristic elements of the work, such as creating new words and expressivity, are included. In the chapter on expressivity the phenomena such as synonymy, homonymy, antonymy, metaphor, verbal analogies, metonymy or phraseology are analysed. The analysis of comics based on the creation and selection of names, surnames and place-names is a significant part. Further it talks about application of rhyme, a humour based on the role of sentence construction, but also on the role of audio and graphicaal aspect of the work. In conclusion, we look at the work from the perspective of nonsense, which is the keystone of the whole text.
