Catharsis

Abstract:

Cílem mé práce bylo vytvořit na téma katarze, tři sochy vystupující z reliéfního obrazu, které za sebou zanechávají minulost spojenou se silnými negativními zážitky. Bakalářská práce zahrnuje teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsem se zaměřila na definici katarze jako duševní očistu spojenou s uvědoměním, úzkostmi, uvolněním a prožitkem. Pojem katarze s jeho významem z dávné antiky a spojení s ošklivostí. Nezapomínám ani na obecné zaměření katarze v moderním výtvarném umění, které je silně spjato s mou tvorbou. Praktická část mapuje mé myšlenkové pochody od návrhu po samotnou realizaci daného tématu spojenou s výběrem materiálu a techniky.

Abstract:

The aim of my work was to create the theme of catharsis , three statues protruding from the relief image, which leave behind the past associated with strong negative experiences. Bachelor thesis includes theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, I focused on the definition of catharsis as a spiritual cleansing associated with awareness, anxiety, release and experience. The notion of catharsis with its importance from ancient times and connections with ugliness. Not oblivious to the general orientation of catharsis in modern art, which is strongly linked with my work. The practical part of my thought process from design to actual implementation of the topic related to the choice of materials and techniques.
