Research of employee motivation and satisfaction in a selected organization

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem mé práce je na základě provedeného průzkumu zjistit stav motivace a spokojenosti zaměstnanců dané organizace a identifikace silných a slabých stránek motivace a spokojenosti. Přínosem je formulace a návrh doporučení pro management sledované organizace k efektivnějšímu fungování motivace a spokojenosti zaměstnanců na pracovišti. Práce je rozdělena na tři základní vzájemně na sebe navazující části. Na teoretickou, metodickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část představuje termíny a definuje základní názvosloví použité i v praktické části. Ke zkoumání a zpracování této práce používám vědecké metody. První zkoumanou skupinu tvořili zaměstnanci v nevedoucích pozicích. Ti byli zkoumáni za pomoci kvantitativní metody formou dotazníku. Druhou skupinu tvořili zaměstnanci ve vedoucích pozicích, kteří byli zkoumáni kvalitativní metodou v podobě polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Závěr obsahuje shrnutí výzkumu a přehled nejdůležitějších doporučení.

Abstract:

The main goal of my work is to determine the state of motivation and satisfaction of employees of the organization and the identification of strengths and weaknesses of motivation and satisfaction. The benefit is the formulation and proposal of recommendations for the management of the organization for the more effective functioning of motivation and satisfaction of employees in the workplace. The work is divided into three basic consecutive parts. For the theoretical, methodological and practical part. The theoretical part introduces the terms and defines the basic terminology used in the practical part. I use scientific methods to research and process this work. The first group examined consisted of employees in non-leading positions. These were examined using a quantitative method in the form of a questionnaire. The second group consisted of employees in management positions, who were examined by a qualitative method in the form of semi-structured interviews. The conclusion contains a summary of the research and an overview of the most important recommendations.
