Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou genderových stereotypů a uplatnění genderu v pohádkách. Zaměřuje se na vliv pohádek v rámci socializace dětí jako jednu z možností předávání genderových stereotypů. V teoretických východiscích rozčleněných do tématických celků jsou vymezeny základní pojmy, na které navazují vybrané teorie genderu, např. protikladné teorie biologického determinismu vycházející z biologických rozdílů v pojetí muže a ženy a teorie sociálního konstruktivismu, která maskulinitu a feminitu považuje za sociálně podmíněné. Práce se dále zabývá genderovou identitou a jejím ovlivněním genderovou stereotypizací, tj. tradičními představami o mužských a ženských rolích. Samostatný tématický celek je věnován socializaci prostřednictvím genderu a významu pohádek pro socializaci dítěte, pro přijetí genderových rolí. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na identifikaci genderových stereotypů v pohádkách Hanse Christiana Andersena prostřednictvím metody obsahové analýzy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of gender stereotypes and of gender application in fairy tales. It focuses on the influence of fairy tales in relation to their connection with the socialization of children as one possibility of gender stereotypes transmission. In the theoretical bases broken down into thematic units are define basic terms, which are connected to the selected theories of gender, for example the opposite theories of biological determinism which is based on biological differences in the conception of men and women, and the theory of social constructivism which is based on social conditionality of masculinity and femininity. The work next focuses on the gender identity and its influence by gender stereotyping, i.e. the traditional ideas about the male and female roles. The separate thematic unit is devoted to the socialization by gender and to the connection of fairy tales for the children socialization and for acceptance of gender roles. The research focuses on identification of gender stereotypes in fairy tales by Hans Christian Andersen using the method of content analysis.
