Tato práce se zabývá idiomy tématicky spojenými s prací, kariérou a obchodem. Některé ze zkoumaných idiomů jsou staré (200 let a více), některé jsou poměrně nové (20 let nebo méně). Nehledě na jejich dobu vzniku se dnes mohou nebo už nemusí používat a tato práce zkoumá právě frekvenci výskytu vybraných idiomů a všech jejich variant za posledních dvacet let. This thesis focuses only on those idiomatic expressions that are connected work, business and career. Some of these idioms are old (200 years old or even older), some of them are quite new (20 years old or less). And regardless their age, they may or may not be still in use today.
