Vliv řezu stromů při výsadbě na jejich fyziologii a růst

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na vliv řezu stromů při výsadbě na jejich fyziologii a morfologii. Práce vychází z dlouhodobému pokusu na javoru mléči Acer platanoides L. ´Emerald Queen´ a dubu letním Quercus robur L. a krátkodobému pokusu na lípě srdčité Tilia cordata Mill. V rámci obou pokusů byly sledovány morfologické charakteristiky velikosti listu, délkového přírůstu, šířky báze letorostu a tloušťky kmene. Z fyziologických charakteristik byl sledován vodní potenciál listu, nefotochemické zhášení, lineární elektronový transport a teplota listu. U javoru mléče byly zjištěny nejlepší výsledky u varianty se silným řezem proti variantě se středním řezem a variantě bez řezu. Statisticky významné rozdíly byly zjištěny více u morfologických parametrů než u parametrů fyziologických. U dubu letního výsledky neprokázaly jednoznačně odlišnou reakci některé z variant pokusu. U výsledných morfologických parametrů lípy srdčité jednoznačně převažoval vliv velikosti sazenice nad vlivem intenzity řezu. Jedinci s kvalitním kořenovým systémem byly v omezeném prokořenitelném prostoru více stresováni suchem. Pravděpodobně rychleji vyčerpaly omezené zásoby dostupné vody.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the effect of pruning trees during planting on their physiology and morphology. The work is based on a long-term experiment on the norway maple Acer platanoides L. ´Emerald Queen' and pedunculate oak Quercus robur L. and a short-term experiment on the small-leaved lime Tilia cordata Mill. In both experiments, the morphological characteristics of leaf size, shoot extension, width of the base of the shoot and trunk diameter were monitored. Leaf water potential, non-photochemical quenching, linear electron transport and leaf temperature were monitored from the physiological characteristics. For norway maple, the best results were found for the severe pruning treatment versus the moderate pruning treatment and the control. Statistically significant differences were found more in morphological parameters than in physiological parameters. For pedunculate oak, the results did not show a clearly different reaction of any of the experiment variants. The influence of seedling size clearly prevailed over the influence of pruning intensity for the resulting morphological parameters of small-leaved lime. Individuals with a large root system were more stressed by drought in a limited rooting space. They probably used up the limited supplies of available water more quickly.
