Diplomová práce se zabývá výzkumem kulturně specifických výrazů objevujících se ve dvaceti epizodách amerického seriálu The Simpsons a jejich převedením do češtiny. Cílem práce bylo zmapovat tyto kulturně specifické výrazy v originálním znění, jejich interpretace v české verzi a postupy jakými byly překládány. Diplomová práce se skládá ze tří částí.
