Postmodern problems of human rights and global security in context of migration in Europe

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na postmoderní problémy lidských práv a globální bezpečnosti s ohledem na vývoj migrace v Evropě. Diplomová práce čerpá ze zákonitostí, které přinesl celkový historický vývoj migrace posledních let, a charakterizuje migraci jako jeden z nejdůležitějších globalizačních procesů. Dále ukazuje příčiny migrace. Práce dále poukazuje na bezpečnostní rizika, která s migrací souvisí, kam řadíme xenofobii a extremismus. Práce podrobně zkoumá historický vývoj v Evropě od konce minulého století a charakterizuje jednotlivé migrační směry a trasy do Evropy. Diplomová práce představí jednotlivé organizace, které se zabývají otázkami migrace a lidských práv. Další část práce se bude věnovat situaci v České republice. Bude se soustředit na téma bezpečnostní politiky státu a migrační a azylové politiky státu. Zároveň ukáže, jak důležitou roli hraje na celkovém postoji české veřejnosti úspěšná integrace imigrantů do českého prostředí a postoj médií.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on postmodern problems of human rights and global security in context of migration in Europe. The diploma thesis is based on the laws that have brought the overall historical development of migration in recent years and it characterizes migration as one of the most important globalization processes. It also shows the reasons of migration. The work also focuses on security risks related to migration, which include xenophobia and extremism. The thesis examines in detail the historical development in Europe since the end of the last century and it characterizes directions and routes of migration to Europe. It aims to present individual organizations that deal with questions of migration and human rights. The next part of the work will be oriented on the situation in the Czech Republic. It will focus on the topic of national security policy and migration and asylum policy. At the same time, it points out the importance of integration of immigrants into the Czech environment along with the influence of the media on the public attitude.
