Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá spojovacím způsobem (konjunktivem) v současném anglickém jazyce. Je zaměřena jak na konjunktiv prézentu tak préterita. Popisuje jeho historický vývoj, tvary i používání. Analýza zkoumá četnost jeho výskytu i výskytu alternativních konstrukcí v současné britské i americké beletrie.
