Abstract:

ANDREEVA Anna, Sociokulturní Aspekty Podnikové Kultury v Hotelovém Průmyslu. [Bakalářská práce], Vysoká Škola Hotelová v Praze 8, spol. s r.o. Praha: 2020. 67 stran. Cílem této bakalářské práce je soustředit se na podrobní rozbor sociokulturních aspektů podnikové kultury v hotelové industrii. Zároveň, cílem je nabídnout příslušné rekomendace pro možné změny a vylepšení v korporátní kultuře Courtyard by Marriott Prague Airport Hotel, na základě kritické analýzy různých aspektů sociálně zodpovědného chování. Tato bakalářská práce je rozdělená do tři části. První část zahrnuje přehled vybrané literatury a je zaměřena na pojmy, spojené s korporátní kulturou a aktivitami CSR. Druhou část tvoří přehled o společnosti Marriott International a její korporátní kultuře se zaměřením na jeden vybraný hotel. Poté, následuje zpracování dat z dotazovaní, které se uskutečnilo mezi zaměstnanci Courtyard by Marriott Prague Airport Hotel. Nejpodstatnější pro nás bude ve druhé části se pokusit odpovědět na otázku, která byla položena ve výzkumu. Třetí část této bakalářské práci navrhuje rekomendace pro možná zlepšení v korporátní kultuře hotelu, na základě provedené analýzy získaných dat a informací.

ANDREEVA Anna, The Sociocultural Aspects of Business Culture in the Hotel Industry. [Bachelor thesis], The Institute of Hospitality Management in Prague, Prague: 2020, 67 pages. This bachelor thesis focuses on the sociocultural aspects of business culture in the hotel industry. The work’s aim is to offer recommendations for improvements in the corporate culture of a Courtyard by Marriott Prague Airport Hotel based on findings taken from a critical analysis of various aspects of socially responsible behaviour. This bachelor thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part of this bachelor thesis covers the literature review and focuses on the terms connected with corporate culture and CSR activities. The second part provides an overview of the Marriott International and its corporate culture with focus concentrated on a selected hotel. It then further examines a questionnaire survey that was distributed amongst the employees of the Courtyard by Marriott Prague Airport Hotel. Most importantly, in the second part of this bachelor thesis, the answer to the research question is given. The third part provides recommendations for improvements based on the findings and follows up on the information obtained in the previous sections.
