The Collection and Analysis of Requirements for the Design of a New Client Web Portal

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je vytvořit návrh řešení nového klientského webového portálu pro konkrétní společnost. Pro dosažení hlavního cíle práce jsou v práci stanoveny i cíle vedlejší, které je taktéž nutné naplnit pro adekvátní řešení primárního cíle. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V části teoretické patří mezi vedlejší cíle analýza prací obdobného typu a literatury spjaté s touto tématikou. Výsledky a výstupy části teoretické jsou uplatněny v části praktické při vytváření procesního modelu, který slouží jako metodika pro dosažení hlavního cíle a je dále doplněna o zkušenosti autora této práce. Hlavní část praktického oddílu obsahuje analýzu současného stavu ve společnosti (AS-IS) a sběr a vyhodnocení požadavků na nový klientský portál, které jsou nutnou podmínkou, a tedy dalšími vedlejšími cíli k naplnění cíle hlavního. Samotným návrhem řešení se poté zabývá závěr praktické části, který respektuje současný stav ve společnosti a naplňuje veškeré požadavky společnosti. Závěr práce je věnován jejímu shrnutí, reflektuje naplnění jednotlivých cílů práce a uvádí doporučení pro úpravu a doplnění procesního modelu a samotného návrhu řešení.

Abstract:

The main goal of this diploma thesis is to create a design solution for a new client web portal for a company. In order to achieve the main aim of the work, secondary goals are also set as they are fundamental to accomplish the main goal. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, secondary objectives of the work include the analysis of the works of a similar type and literature related to this topic. The results and outputs of the theoretical part are applied in the practical section in the creation of a process model which serves as a methodology for achieving the main objective of the thesis and is further supplemented by the experience of the author of this work. The main body of the practical part contains an analysis of the current state in the company (AS-IS) and the collection and evaluation of the requirements for the new client portal, which are necessary requirements to meet the main aim of the thesis. The end of the practical part is concerned with the design of the solution itself as it respects the current situation in the company and meets all its requirements. The conclusion of the work is devoted to summarizing the thesis, the fulfilment of the individual goals and to recommendations regarding adjustments and the completion of the process model and the design of the solution itself.
