Suppliers Quality Evaluation in Management System of the Umoe Schat-Harding spol.s.r.o.

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je problematika vzájemně prospěšných dodavatelských vztahů a stanovení metodiky výběru a hodnocení dodavatelů dle mezinárodních norem ISO. Norská firma Umoe Schat-Harding se zabývá vývojem a výrobou záchranných systémů, jež se instalují na zaoceánských lodích a plovoucích vrtných plošinách. Pro sestavení a výrobu hydraulických navijáků i jeřábů je zapotřebí velké množství nakupovaných komponentů. S tím souvisí vybudování velké sítě tuzemských a hlavně zahraničních dodavatelů. K volbě zahraničních dodavatelů firmu vede výjimečnost nakupovaných dílů, které je nemožné na tuzemském trhu zakoupit, anebo z důvodu neustálého tlaku konkurence na snižování nákladů a nákup lacinějších komponentů. Ve firmě je již zavedený systém, který byl převzat od mateřské firmy z Norska.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is to refer problems of mutually useful supplier relationships and the set-up of methodology selection and evaluation of the suppliers according to International standards ISO. Norwegian company Umoe Schat-Harding deals with development and manufacturing emergency systems, which are installed on the overseas cruise ships and floating oil drilling platforms. For assembling and production hydraulic Winches and Davits, there is necessary to have a big amount of purchase components. An establishing a big network of domestic’s and mainly overseas suppliers also relates to this matter. For the choice of overseas suppliers the firm leads to reason of an exceptionality of purchase product, which is impossible to buy at the domestic market or for the reason of continual pressure of competition for reducing costs and purchasing the cheaper components. There is already implemented system in the company that has been assumed by the mother´s company in Norway.
