Sampling points in the organizational structure of the fight against Covid-19

Abstract:

Žádná země nezná celkový počet nakažených lidí s Covid-19. Vše, co je doposud známé, je stav infekce těch, kteří byli testováni. Jedná se tedy o potvrzené případy, což znamená, že počty potvrzených případů závisí na tom, kolik daná země skutečně testuje. Testování je naším oknem do pandemie a jejího šíření. Bez údajů nelze vědět, které země jsou na tom dobře a které jen podceňují případy. Diplomová práce je rozvrhnuta na dvě stěžejní části. První část, se zabývá studiem viru Covid-19 s návazností na epidemiologický model, který je promítnut na odběrné místa České republiky. Dále jsou zde nastíněné právní aspekty a pandemický plán ČR, rovněž v užším kontextu jsou popsány systémová organizace odběrných míst. Navazující praktická část je směřována na jedno odběrné místo, kde je provedena analýza jeho organizační struktury s následnými možnými realizačními riziky. Pro ucelí diplomové práce je použita kvantitativní metoda, kde je poukázáno na kvalitu, dostupnost odběrných míst v České republice. Abstract:

ANNOTATION So far, there is no country that would really know the total number of its people infected with Covid-19. Everything we know is that people who have been tested are infected. These are confirmed cases, meaning that the number of confirmed cases depends on how much each country actually tests. Therefore, testing provides us insights into the pandemic and how it spreads. However, it is impossible to know which countries are doing well and which, on the other hand, are underestimating cases without available data. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part focuses on the Covid-19 virus research with connection to the epidemiological model projected on the collection sites in the Czech Republic. In addition, it outlines the legal aspects and the pandemic plan of the Czech Republic; the systemic organisation of sampling points is also described in detail. The following practical part focuses on one collection point, analysing its organisational structure and possible implementation risks. The quantitative method is applied in the diploma thesis, indicating the quality and availability of collection points in the Czech Republic.
