Punishments in teaching at primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá užíváním trestů ve výuce učiteli prvního stupně základní školy. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vymezení definic a klíčových pojmů souvisejících s touto problematikou. Charakterizuje tresty, zahrnuje jejich typologii a zásady a rizika, která s trestáním souvisejí. Dále se věnuje pojetí moci ve školní třídě. Empirická část práce zahrnuje kvalitativně orientované výzkumné šetření a věnuje se popisu a interpretaci dat získaných z rozhovorů s učiteli a pozorování ve školních třídách. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jaké formy trestů udělují učitelky během vyučování a jednotlivé typy následně popsat.

Abstract:

Thesis deals with using punishents in lessons of teachers at primary school. We have theoretical part which is centered on demarcation of definitions and on main notions related with this issue. It charachterizes punishments, includes their typology, principles and risks which are related with chastisement. Further, it devotes conception of the power in the classroom. Empirical part of the work includes qualitatively oriented research which is about title and interpretation of data, gain from interviews with teachers and observation in school classes. The aim of the thesis is find out which forms of punishments teachers impose during the lessons and after that all types individually describe.
