Basal stimulation in practice with seniors in residential services

Abstract:

V této diplomové práci je řešeno téma bazální stimulace v praxi se seniory v pobytových zařízeních. Hlavním cílem práce je pomocí dotazníkového šetření zjistit, využití bazální stimulace v pobytových zařízeních pro seniory v okrese Karviná (domovy pro seniory a domovy se zvláštním režimem) a jakým způsobem může bazální stimulace přispívat k rozvoji sociální práce. Dílčím cílem práce je také zjistit, zda má používání bazální stimulace dle sociálních pracovníků pobytových zařízení pro seniory souvislost s kvalitou života klientů těchto zařízení a jaký postoj k tomuto konceptu zaujímají. Práce se skládá z teoretické a výzkumné části. Výzkum je realizován za pomoci kvantitativního výzkumu, a to prostřednictvím anonymního dotazníkového šetření. Výsledky jsou vyhodnoceny, prezentovány a následně diskutovány.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of basal stimulation in practice with seniors in residential facilities. The main goal of the work is to find out, using a questionnaire survey, the use of basal stimulation in residential facilities for the elderly in the Karviná district (homes for the elderly and homes with a special regime) and how basal stimulation can contribute to the development of social work. A partial goal of the work is also to find out whether the use of basal stimulation according to the social workers of residential facilities for the elderly has a connection with the quality of life of the clients of these facilities and what attitude they take to this concept. The work consists of a theoretical and a research part. The research is carried out with the help of quantitative research, through an anonymous questionnaire survey. The results are evaluated, presented and then discussed.
