Komprehenziv rehabilitation for mental handicaped

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Komprehenzivní rehabilitace mentálně retardovaných v rezidenčním prostředí“ pojednává o ucelené rehabilitaci jedinců s mentálním postižením v podmínkách ústavní péče. Práce je rozčleněna do šesti částí. V první části je vymezen pojem mentální retardace, charakteristika zvláštností lidí s mentálním postižením a zabývá se etiologií a epidemiologií mentálního postižení. Druhá část se zabývá ústavní péčí, nejen její charakteristikou a základními funkcemi,ale také její historií a riziky. Ve třetí části je popsán systém komprehenzivní rehabilitace. Ukazuje členění na čtyři hlavní složky a seznamuje s nejpoužívanějšími metodami. Čtvrtá část se zabývá strukturou zaměstnanců a uživatelů péče. V páté kapitole je popsán současný stav v ÚSP Křižanov z hlediska komprehenzivní rehabilitace. Popisuje jednotlivé terapie a služby poskytované ústavem. Poslední část je empirická, analyzuje ucelenou rehabilitaci v zařízení a je zpracována statistickou procedurou.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis „Comprehensive rehabilitation of mental handicapped in residence environment“ deals with complex rehabilitation of mental handicapped people in the conditions of institucional care. My dissertation is devided into six parts. In the first part, there is a specification of the concept of mental retardation, a characterization of the specifics of mental handicapped people and it deals with etiology and epidemiology of mental handicap. The second part of the dissertation is concerned with the institutional care in its features and basic functions as well as its history and disadvantages. The third part describes a system of comprehensive rehabilitation. It adverts to the structuring of the main four components and it introduces us with the most used methods. Fourth part deals with the structure of employers and users of the institucional care. In the fifth part, there is a discription of contemporary condition in ÚSP Křižanov in light of comprehensive rehabilitation. It describes individual therapies and services provided by the institution. The last part is empirical, it analyses a complex rehabilitation in the institution and it is processed with statistic procedure.
