Selected Forms of Electronic Banking and their Use in Conditions of SR

Abstract:

This thesis deals with selected forms of the electronic banking and their use in Slovakia. It is divided into three chapters. The first chapter defines the theoretical basis of the electronic banking. It deals with the mission of the commercial banks, payment system and the functioning of the payment systems. Subsequently, it studies the progress and the reason of the introduction of the electronic banking, its forms, advantages and the security. The second chapter analyzes some forms of the electronic banking services provided to retail clients in the Tatra bank and the bank- Slovenska Sporitelna. The third chapter compares the analyzed forms of the electronic banking and evaluates the degree of the using forms of the electronic banking based on a questionnaire research.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá vybranými formami elektronického bankovníctva a ich využívaním v podmienkach SR. Je rozdelená do troch kapitol. Prvá kapitola vymedzuje teoretické východiská elektronického bankovníctva. Zaoberá sa poslaním komerčnej banky, platobným stykom a fungovaním platobných systémov. Následne sa venuje vývoju a dôvodom zavádzania elektronického bankovníctva, jeho formám, výhodám a bezpečnosti. Druhá kapitola analyzuje vybrané formy elektronického bankovníctva poskytované retailovým klientom v Tatra banke a v Slovenskej sporiteľni. Tretia kapitola komparuje analyzované formy elektronického bankovníctva a vyhodnocuje mieru využívania foriem elektronického bankovníctva na základe dotazníkového prieskumu.
