Abstract:

Lieb-Thirring inequalities play important role in mathematics, physics, and quantum me chanics since its inception by Lieb and Thirring in 1976. Over the years, many authors have established a series of Lieb-Thirring inequalities. In the recent past, Barsegyan pre sented and established the possibility of strengthening the Lieb-Thirring Inequality. Using the standard theory of functions, Barsegyan et al., proved Lieb-Thirring inequalities for or thonormal systems on L^2(R^2). These inequalities have, among others, applications in the theory of partial differential equations and provides essential insights into the summation of eigenvalues of Schrödinger operators in quantum mechanics. The essence of this present work is divided into two. Firstly, it shall explore the approaches and results presented in the works of Barsegyan and Kashin et al., which established and proved the Lieb-Thirring inequality of orthonormal systems on L^2(R^2). Secondly, building on the foundational work of Barsegyan and Kashin et al., this thesis seeks to extend the Lieb-Thirring inequality for orthonormal systems on L^2(R^2) to L^2(R^3). We shall consider two inequalities of Lieb-Thirring type of orthonormal systems in L^2(R^3) and prove them using the standard theory of functions. We shall start with the basic properties and definitions of inner product spaces and Hilbert spaces. Then we will look at the well-known concepts and fundamentals of Theory of Operators and spectral theory. Thereafter, we shall introduce the Lieb-Thirring inequalities of orthonormal systems on L^2(R^2) as presented by Barsegyan et al., and lastly, we will introduce and prove the Lieb-Thirring inequality in L^2(R^3).

Abstract:

Lieb-Thirringovy nerovnosti hrají důležitou roli v matematice, fyzice a kvantové mechanice od jejího založení Liebem a Thirringem v roce 1976. V průběhu let mnoho autorů vytvořilo sérii Lieb-Thirringových nerovností. V nedávné minulosti Barsegyan představil a stanovil možnost posílení Lieb-Thirringovy nerovnosti. Pomocí standardní teorie funkcí, Barsegyan et al., dokázali Lieb-Thirringovy nerovnosti pro nebo thonormální systémy na L^2(R^2). Tyto nerovnosti mají mimo jiné aplikace v teorii parciálních diferenciálních rovnic a poskytují zásadní vhled do sčítání vlastních čísel Schrödingerových operátorů v kvantové mechanice. Podstata této práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Nejprve prozkoumá přístupy a výsledky prezentované v pracích Barsegyana a Kashina et al., které stanovily a prokázaly Lieb-Thirringovu nerovnost ortonormálních systémů na L^2(R^2). Za druhé, v návaznosti na základní práci Barsegyan a Kashin et al., se tato práce snaží rozšířit Lieb-Thirringovu nerovnost pro ortonormální systémy na L^2(R^2) na L^2(R^3). Budeme uvažovat dvě nerovnosti Lieb-Thirringova typu ortonormálních systémů v L^2(R^3) a dokážeme je pomocí standardní teorie funkcí. Začneme základními vlastnostmi a definicemi vnitřních součinových prostorů a Hilbertových prostorů. Poté se podíváme na známé pojmy a základy teorie operátorů a spektrální teorie. Poté zavedeme Lieb-Thirringovy nerovnosti ortonormálních systémů na L^2(R^2), jak je uvádí Barsegyan et al., a nakonec zavedeme a dokážeme Lieb-Thirringovu nerovnost v L^2(R^ 3).
