Únor 1948 znamenal pro Československo nastolení totalitního režimu, který zde panoval až do Sametové revoluce roku 1989. Magisterská práce se věnuje populární hudbě, která podléhala, stejně jako veškeré dění v Československu, totalitnímu režimu. In February 1948, a totalitarian regime was established in Czechoslovakia, which was here until the Velvet Revolution of 1989. This master's diploma thesis deals with popular music, which, as well as all the events in Czechoslovakia, was subjected to a totalitarian regime.
