Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je analýza předložek “to” a “into”, které se často užívají k vytvoření předložkových vazeb označujících cíl pohybu v pohybových konstrukcích. Analyzované konstrukce se skládají ze slovesa vyjádřujícího způsob pohybu (tzv. manner of motion verb), předložky “to” nebo “into” a podstatného jména (méně často zájmena). Abstract:
The main aim of the present thesis is to analyse the prepositions “to” and “into”, which are commonly used as heads of prepositional phrases that denote the goal of motion in motion constructions. The motion constructions under analysis consist of a manner of motion verb, the preposition “to” or “into” and a noun (or, less frequently, a pronoun).
