Motivation and rewarding of employees in the company Omega Optix, s.r.o.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na personální činnosti motivace a odměňování zaměstnanců jakožto možné řešení vysoké fluktuace zaměstnanců. Cílem této práce je analýza těchto dvou komponent řízení pracovního výkonu a jejich vliv na fluktuaci zaměstnanců. V teoretické části jsou na základě odborné literatury popsány základní teorie motivace a složky motivačního systému včetně benefitů. Dále jsou zde vysvětleny druhy mzdových forem a systém odměňování. V praktické části práce jsou nejdříve analyzovány stávající procesy motivace a odměňování ve společnosti Omega Optix, o nichž byly informace získány na základě polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s vedoucí personálního útvaru. Následně jsou zde analyzovány výsledky dotazníkového šetření, provedeného v této společnosti. Přínosem práce je navržení souboru doporučení pro vedení společnosti ke zlepšení stávajících procesů a snížení fluktuace pracovníků.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on motivation and rewarding of employees as a possible solution to lower fluctuation of employees. The goal of my thesis is to analyse these two parts of Employee Performance Management and to assess their influence on the employee fluctuation. The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis is based on technical literature. In this part, the basics of motivation as theories of motivation or employee benefits have been described. Moreover, rewarding system and wage forms as well as other components of rewarding have been specified. The practical part focuses on analysing these two processes in a company Omega Optix, s.r.o. This data has been received through half-structured interview with the leader of Human Resources department. Furthermore, the results of questionnaire research held in this company have been analysed. Based on this data, I have specified a few recommendations for the management of the company.
