Arms Trade Treaty
Abstract:
V roce 2013 přijalo Valné shromáždění OSN Smlouvu o obchodu se zbraněmi, která měla za úkol sjednotit úpravu mezinárodního transferu zbraní. Práce interpretační metodou rozebírá vybraná ustanovení smlouvy a hodnotí, zda byl účel smlouvy naplněn. Konečným výsledkem práce je zhodnocení, že smlouva není schopná právně pokrýt rozsáhlý mezinárodní obchod se zbraněmi efektivním způsobem.
Abstract:
In 2013, the UN General Assembly adopted an Arms Trade Treaty which was drafted to unify the regulation of international arms transfers. The work uses the interpretative method to analyze selected contract terms and assess whether the purpose of the Treaty has been fulfilled.
