Movie preview in school practice, possibilities of teaching in 5th and 9th grade based on the depiction of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá přínosem využití filmové ukázky ve výuce vlastivědy či dějepisu na základní škole. Konkrétně videoukázek se zaměřením na období Protektorátu Čechy a Morava s důrazem na kauzalitu, prostorovou a časovou souvislost. Jednotlivé filmové úseky, vztahující se k tomuto období, jsou členěny do dvou oblastí. Jednou z nich je časové hledisko podle doby vzniku snímku, druhou je potom tematické pojetí zachycení dobové atmosféry v pozdější kinematografické tvorbě. Cílem této práce je vytvoření vhodného didaktického materiálu pro žáky 5. a 9. tříd základní školy, návrh projektu s filmovou ukázkou a snaha motivovat pedagogy k modernímu a atraktivnímu způsobu pojetí výuky tohoto tématu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the benefits of using a movie sample in the teaching of homeland studies or history at primary school. Specifically, movie samples demonstrations focusing on the period of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia with an emphasis on causality, spatial and temporal context. The individual movie sections relating to this period are divided into two areas. One of them is the time aspect according to the time of the movie's origin, the other one is the thematic concept of capturing the period atmosphere in later cinematographic production. The goal of this thesis is to create a suitable didactic material for pupils in the 5th and 9th grades of primary school, a project proposal with a movie demonstration and an effort to motivate teachers to a modern and attractive way of teaching this topic.
