Family environment of a child with autism spectrum disorder

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá rodinným prostředím u dítěte s poruchou autistického spektra. Cílem této práce je zjistit a popsat změny v klasickém rodinném prostředí u dítěte s poruchou autistického spektra a z pohledu rodičů zjistit, jaký dopad měla tato diagnóza na rodinu. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se zabývá poruchami autistického spektra, jejich dělením, projevy, a taktéž rodinou dítěte s tímto postižením. Popisuje funkce rodiny, výchovné styly, vyrovnávání se s diagnózou a druhy státní podpory. Praktická část obsahuje výzkumné šetření provedené za pomocí kvalitativních metod, kazuistiky dětí s PAS a polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s rodiči. Hlavním cílem šetření je zjistit, jak se z pohledu rodičů změnilo rodinné prostředí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the family environment of a child with autism spectrum disorder. The purpose of this work is to find out and describe the changes in a traditional family environment of a child with autism spectrum disorder and to find out what impact this diagnosis has had on the family from parents' perspective. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with disorders of the autistic spectrum, their division, manifestations, and also on the family of a child with this disability. It describes family functions, parenting styles, coping with the diagnosis and types of state support. The practical part contains research carried out using qualitative methods, case studies of children with ASD and semi-structured interviews with parents. The main goal of the survey is to find out how the family environment has changed from the perspective of the parents.
