This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of psyche of a woman in postpartum period. It analyses the background of postpartum period and maternity transition. It arises the importance of mental health of a woman and her new-born baby, and highlights the possible factors that might contribute to mood disorders. Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá problematikou psychiky ženy v popôrodnom období. Skúma pozadie šestonedelia a prechodu ženy do materstva. Vyzdvihuje podstatu duševného zdravia pre ženu a novorodenca a upozorňuje na možné rizikové faktory, ktoré môžu prispieť k poruchám nálady.
